World Street Food Congress Winner Sharyn's Cansi Opens in Silay City

Named as one of the 50 top street foods at the recently held World Street Food Congress (WSFC), Bacolod's Cansi will now be available in Silay City.  Silay City, the gateway to the sugar-rich island of Negros is also known to be the Paris of Negros and a recognized cradle of Negrense culture.

Sharyn's Cansi opens a branch in Silay City to answer the cravings of Negrenses who live north of Bacolod City.

Cansi soup, a unique serving of beef broth with a "healthy" dose of bone marrow, stewed for hours with a local sour agent known as 'batwan' is slowly but surely catching up as one of the popular dishes of Negros Island, following the more popular favorite, chicken inasal.

Sharyn's Cansi House opens in Silay City, right along the National Highway in Barangay Guinhalaran.
